Advice from Dr Hilary
Advice from Dr Hilary

GMTV's health and medical advisor Dr Hilary Jones explains that what we are eating could be the reason for the rise in food intollerances.

A food intolerance is a delayed food allergy and can affect long term health and quality of life with symptoms such as Irritable bowel syndrome, bloating, tiredness, migraines and digestive complaints.

Up to 45% of the UK population suffer from food intolerance and a new study shows that it could be what we are eating that is making us sick

Dr Hilary Jones believes that the results of this research offers a chance to get to the root of these conditions, such as arthritis, by tackling the possible cause, rather than relying on long-term treatments for chronic conditions.
